Do you have an idea about what Bayview is?  We want to know about it!

“One size fits all” neighborhood promotional campaigns don’t cut it in San Francisco’s diverse Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood.  The place is a mashup of communities, generations, interest groups, longtime residents and new arrivals.  And yet folks who live, work, study and play in the neighborhood know it has a sensibility all its own, and will share why they love it when given the chance.

That’s why the Bayview Footprints Network of Community Building Groups launched the “Bayview Is…” Campaign in 2008.  Enjoy the online slideshow of locals, a mural in the heart of the neighborhood, and links to other aspects of a unique community-generated campaign.
